Canton Area Chamber Information
Our organization, a 501c6 non-profit entity, is dedicated to serving our community by promoting business and community connections. With a steadily growing membership and a recently acquired Main Street office, we have improved business opportunities for our members.
Anyone doing business in the Canton Area, or wishing to do business in the Canton Area, is welcome to join.

What to Expect at a Meeting
Meetings
The Canton Area Chamber is made up of representatives from local businesses, non-profit organizations and industry. There are also business members that are outside of the Canton Area who are interested in supporting our mission and who may have a customer base located in the area.
We generally meet at either 8:30AM or noon on the 1st Thursday of each month.
An email invitation to the meeting, along with the upcoming agenda, minutes of the previous meeting and financial report, is sent to members in advance. We ask members to be review the minutes and financial report before the meeting so we can quickly move through the acceptance of those items of business.
Our meetings run about one hour. This is time well spent to be a part of building a strong business community in the Canton Area. Everyone present has a MEMBER MINUTE to tell the group what is going on with their business or organization. A MEMBER MINUTE might include a special promotion, a deadline, a successful transaction or outcome, changes in hours, new service offerings, etc.
Guests are welcome to join us for a chamber meeting. Recently we had a community service organization speak to us about their family support services. We are always open to visitors, including prospective Chamber members.
Most meetings are held in the chamber building on Main Street next to the park. Our building is located at 35 West Main Street (map on CONTACT page) and provides comfortable meeting spaces with teleconference capabilities. When members can not make a meeting in person they can join us remotely via Microsoft TEAMS.
Location and time changes are announced at least one month in advance.
